＊immediate は名詞の前に来る限定用法の形容詞であり比較級も取れません。文法的に破格の会話文ですね。

＊ケンブリッジの辞書サイトにはこの様な文法的に不適切と思われる用例（会話表現）が掲載されておりますのでご留意下さい。

＊TOEIC 950 点の非英語 native の書いた英文を読みましたが、この様な破格の表現が時々混じりますが、意味は通じます。日本語がまだたどたどしい外国人が話す内容を日本人が理解出来るのと同様です。そこそこの文法＋単語力、語彙力が会話には大切です。topical, immediate の意味を知らなければ門前払いになります。

＊I'm relevant in, as 私は（〜に於いて、〜として）相応しい、価値が有る、適当だ、との表現は辞書に用例を見ず、だいぶ informal な用例に見えます。会話には良いですが formal な文章では使えないでしょう。より明確な言葉で置き換える必要がある筈です。

＊上記、I'm only relevant when there's no  one  else.　も　I'm  important  for you just when you don't have another woman. 他に女のいない時だけ私を大事にするのね、の解釈で良いでしょう。

Having just turned 60 in the midst of a remarkable  artistic  resurrection, Kevin Costner comments in an interview with Efe that he is more  certain of his ideas and feelings than ever, but  unsure  if  he  remains a relevant player in Hollywood.

"I ask myself if I'm relevant.  Whether I'm an important  actor.  Does what I do matter to people? The truth is I'm not sure. I have my doubts.That  is my struggle," said the actor who took home  an  Oscar  for  'Dances with Wolves' in 1990.
