Gentle

1. （性質が）優しい、穏やかな

= neutral, objective, detached, just 中立な、客観的な、距離を置いた、公正な

⇔ partial = biased or prejudiced in favor  of  a  person,  group, side, etc. 不公平に贔屓する

註：partial には、部分的な、一部の、の意味もあります。

He was not an impartial witness because  of  his  affinity  with the accused.

Neat

1.きちんとした

A neat place, thing, or person is tidy  and  smart,  and has everything in the correct place.

　きちんとした場所、物、人は整頓されていて清潔で、すべてが正しい場所に置かれている。

= tidy, nice, straight, trim  整頓された、きれいな、まっすぐな、引き締まった

So they left her in the neat little house,  alone  with  her memories.

　そこで彼らは彼女を、思い出だけと共に、きちんとした小さな家に一人残した。

She was small and neat of person.

　彼女は小柄で身なりがきちんとしていた。

You could always spot him as he was so  neat  and  tidy.

6. とても良い、イカす　（米口語）　very good.
