Discreet

・控えめな、配慮ある、慎重な

polite and careful in what you do or say, because you want to avoid embarrassing or offending someone.

　誰かを当惑させたり不快にさせたりすることを避けたいがゆえに、言動において礼儀正しく慎重である

= tactful, diplomatic, politic, reserved 　配慮のある、外交的な、政治的な、控えめな

＊意図的に目立たなく行動する、秘密を漏らさぬ様に過ごす、点に於いて、まぁ隠密の心掛けですね。

＊同音異字の形容詞 discrete = separate, individual, distinct  別個の、の意味です。

They were gossipy and not always discreet.

　彼らは噂好きで、常に控えめであるとは言い難かった。

He followed at a discreet distance.

　彼は適度な距離を保って後をつけた。

approving of it because it is small in size or  degree,  or not easily noticed

Crazy

・馬鹿げている、気が狂っている、正気ではない、イカれている

thinking someone or something are very foolish  or strange.

　人物や物事が非常に愚かであるか、奇妙であると考えている [informal]

People thought they were all crazy to try to  make  money from manufacturing.

　人々は、製造業で金を稼ごうとする彼らを皆正気じゃないと思った。

He’s crazy to drive his car so fast.

Someone who is cheerful is happy and shows this  in their behaviour.

She seemed cheerful, bright and extremely  beautiful.
