Diplomatic

Someone who is diplomatic is able  to  be  careful  to say or do things without offending people.

Someone who is polite has good manners  and  behaves in a way that is socially correct and not rude to other people.

= mannerly, civil, courteous, affable 礼儀正しい、丁寧な、親切な、気さくな

Everyone around him was trying to be  polite,  but you could tell they were all bored.

Happy

＊以下の例文を見ればお判りですが、基本的に人の状態を表す語であり、人格形容詞とは呼べないでしょう。

1. （人が）幸せな

Someone who is happy has feelings of  pleasure,  usually  because  something nice has happened or because they feel satisfied with their life.

　幸せな人は喜びを感じている。通常、何か良いことが起きたか、人生に満足しているからである。

= pleased, delighted, content, contented   満足した、喜んだ、満ち足りた、満足している

註：単に外見的に幸せそうに見えるのではなく、本人が精神的に嬉しく満足しているだろうことを意味します。

Marina was a confident, happy child.

　マリーナは自信に満ちた幸せな子供だった。

I'm just happy to be back running.

　走れるようになってただただ嬉しい。

＊be back (to) doing 再び〜する。復帰する

Their happy smiling little faces fill both ends  of  the  pipe.

A happy time, place, or relationship is full of  happy  feelings  and pleasant experiences, or has an atmosphere in which people feel happy.

= contented, blessed, blest, joyful  満足した、恵まれた、祝福された、喜びに満ちた

Except for her illnesses, she had had a  particularly  happy  childhood.

We have a very happy marriage.

3. 満足している

satisfied with something, for example  because  you  think  that  it is being done in the right way.

　例えば何かが正しい方法で進んでいると考え、それに満足している

5.A happy coincidence 　幸運な偶然

Trust is a hot topic between partners  and  helps  you  build  a very resilient and romantic relationship.

viewing something as unrealistic and  thinking  that  thing  is  better or more exciting than it really is.

He has a romantic view of rural  society.
